About Me
Born and raised in Uganda as the youngest of 12 siblings, I grew up surrounded by creativity and entrepreneurship. Inspired by my mother who was a tailor and business owner I developed a deep passion for fashion and design. This led me to study fashion design in Kenya, where I fell in love with the country's artistry and craftsmanship. However, raising two kids while frequently relocating to different countries made it hard for me to pursue my passion. The challenges of finding meaningful work as an Ugandan in the first world also left me feeling lost, but the rise of online business finally gave me the freedom to create on my own terms. Today, through Evzotic I channel my love for design into handcrafted brass jewelry, working with skilled Kenyan artisans to bring my vision to life. Through my brand, I not only expresses my creativity, but also gives back to the country I chose to call home.
